Sublime Lyrics Quiz

by April Fox

In the 1990s, Sublime were busy combining elements of ska, punk, reggae, hip-hop and rock to help create the SoCal ska-punk sound. They saw limited success with their first two albums, 40oz. to Freedom and Robbin' the Hood, before their sound took hold with a broader audience. Sadly, lead singer Bradley Nowell died of a heroin overdose just two months before Sublime's self-titled third album was released in 1996, propelling the band to stardom with catchy, radio-friendly hits like "What I Got" and "Santeria."
