Teenagers : Music Quiz

In the late '90s, it seemed like the kids were everywhere, with boy bands galore and an influx of Mickey Mouse Club alums like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. But teenagers have always had a presence in pop music, from Donny Osmond to Lil Nas X. We celebrate them in this quiz, starting with the youngest singer to top the chart. (Chart positions referenced are for the US Hot 100).

The WayFastball

"The Way" by Fastball was inspired by the story of an elderly couple from Texas who drove to a nearby family reunion and kept going. Fastball's bass player imagined them taking off and having fun like they were young. The story didn't end well: the couple was later found dead after they crashed in a canyon.
