"It all started with the haunting melody, and the picture of two young lovers," Lewis said of the song. "Bringing to mind the realities, and sacrifices that our veterans live every day. Many of us have The Folded Flag in common, and I hope that we can all honor our veterans and their families, forever."
  • Lewis debuted the song on Hallmark's Home & Family show on April 25, 2017.
  • The song was written by Marty Morgan, Luc Nyhus and Yasmine Van Wilt and produced by Ben Kitterman. "In today's world, the ultimate sacrifice that our servicemen and women give selflessly in protection of the American Dream is often overlooked," stated Lewis.
