  • The song's lyrics were based on Bjorn Ulvaeus' melancholy memory of a teenage romance in Paris, France.
  • This tune was later used in the theater musical and movie Mamma Mia!. The characters Donna and Harry sing this song in the theater musical and (mainly) Sophie and Harry in the film version. The song's lyrics provided Catherine Johnson, who wrote the storyline, with Harry's name.
  • Part of the song's melody was later utilized again by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus for their Chess song, "Anthem."
  • This song was used in a flashback scene in the 2022 Marvel film Thor: Love and Thunder.
