  • On this track and the rest of the Black Ice album, singer Brian Johnson's vocals are more soulful than on previous recordings. Johnson told Vancouver 24 Hours that this was down to the producer Brendan O'Brien. He explained: "He stopped me one day and said, 'Brian Johnson, you are a soul singer. You've been singing rock 'n' roll because you had to. But you are a soul singer. I want you to sing that way. Don't try and do what you did on Back in Black. Just sing it with feel.' So I did. And I love it. At first I was thinking, 'Geez, the guys aren't gonna like this.' And it proved to be quite the opposite. They thought it was cool. It gives it a bit more swing."
  • One sometimes gets the impression that AC/DC view lyrics as a necessary evil which gets in the way of the riffs. Johnson said in an interview that he made the words up on the spot for the verses of this song, at the request of Brendan O'Brien.

  • Laurent from Manama, BahrainBy far my favourite song on "Black Ice". The chorus may be a little weak but the verses where Brian sings the blues is absolutely amazing. Brian is a great blues singer and I wish he would indulge and record a blues album.
  • Lozza from Sydney, Australiain my opinion its the best song on black ice... i love this song.. AC/DC F*CKING ROCK!!
