  • Adrenaline Mob close their Men Of Honor album with this pensive track punctuated by gentle acoustic strumming. "It's different for us," said guitarist Mike Orlando. "We got the chance to show everything that we can do."
  • Vocalist Russell Allen explained the story of this song: "I played Mike this idea on the acoustic," he said. "We fed off of each other though. I wanted a 'tell it like it is' song. Everybody in New Jersey and Staten Island really suffered from Hurricane Sandy last year. Mike saw it first hand. I wanted to reach those people with the song and speak to them in a way. That was the inspiration behind it. We all go through things that make you want to give up and lay down and die. You can't though."
  • The largest Atlantic hurricane in diameter, with winds spanning 1,100 miles, Hurricane Sandy swept through the northeastern United States in late October 2012 after causing devastation in the Caribbean and Bahamas. An estimated $60 billion in damage was created by the storm in the United States and at least 253 people were confirmed killed in total.

Many musicians experienced the full force of the hurricane including Joan Jett who witnessed Sandy whilst at her beachside home in Long Beach, New York and wrote about it in her song "Make It Back." Pretty Reckless suffered a devastating loss in the wake of storm, losing all of their recording equipment after their studio was wrecked. The quartet penned the title track of their second album during their downtime as the band struggled to regain their footing. A benefit convert, 12-12-12: The Concert for Sandy Relief took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City featuring a host of star names, which raised more than $50 million.
