  • Peter Lord is a coveted songwriter, best known for his work on Paula Abdul's second album, Spellbound. Lord told us that his work with Aftershock lead him to meeting Abdul. "My production partner, V. Jeffrey Smith, and I were working on a group called Aftershock for Virgin Records," he said. "They were signed to the same label as Paula and we heard she was looking for new material. So we went to work to submit."
