  • This barrel-chested stomper was inspired by soccer hooligan movies. Frontman Joel O'Keeffe explained:

"The lyric probably came from us watching Football Factory or The Firm, one of those kind of films. And I think at the time there was a big Grand Prix race on, lots of intense rivalries being reported in the media. Plus, as with other songs we've done, there's an aspect here of rock 'n' roll taking a stand against those corporate forces that seek to restrict our freedoms, that try to shut down the little live venues, leaving bands with nowhere to really hone their craft."
  • Drummer Ryan O'Keefe told Metal Hammer about the track: "It's definitely about the kid who loves rock 'n' roll and feels out of place in the world," he said. "It's about sticking up for what you believe in and fighting for it. It's an anthem for the underdog that recognizes that it's a rivalry and he's saying, 'It's between you and me motherf---er, and I'm gonna go all the way.'"
