Songfacts®:

  • This sweet, romantic track features Kardinal Offishal and Colby O'Donis from Akon's Konvict label. Akon explained to Blues and Soul magazine why he collaborated with his two label-mates. Said Akon: "With both those artists jump-starting their careers right now, I felt - with the kind of exposure I was about to get with my album - it was a wise decision let them piggyback offa that. So they can both get exposed to audiences that wouldn't normally be checking for them."
  • This was the ninth different single in UK history to use the word "beautiful" as a title. Curiously all nine of them have arrived since 1995, the first being Marillion's song of that name, which peaked at #29 in June 1995. The most successful song with that title to date has been Christina Aguilera's 2003 chart-topper.
