Songfacts®:

  • This song by Canadian-born singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette is the end credit song for the Walt Disney movie Prince of Persia The Sands of Time. Said Morissette of the tune: "It's an honor to write from the voice of an empowered princess about a love that empowers them both to new heights, healing and consciousness. The song wrote itself and this story was the ultimate muse."
  • Morissette co-wrote the song with Mike Elizondo (Dr. Dre, Eminem, Maroon 5, Mary J. Blige, Nelly Furtado), who also produced the track. Elizondo previously produced the Alanis Morissette-penned track "Wunderkind," from The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian movie.
