Songfacts®:

  • This is the lead single from Spanish singer/songwriter Alejandro Sanz's eighth studio album, Paraíso Express. The song was premiered on a fan club members-only section of Sanz's official website on September 18, 2009.
  • The song finds Sanz trading lyrics with Alicia Keys in English and Spanish. This duet with Keys is not the first time the Spanish singer has teamed up with a female superstar. "La Tortura," his 2005 collaboration with Shakira was a #23 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
  • Sanz said in a statement regarding Paraíso Express: "On this album, I first composed the melody and then the lyrics. It is more of a rock album than my past releases, with more elegant and positive lyrics and a happier and more rhythmic spirit."
