Songfacts®:

  • This is the first single from the re-released deluxe version of The Alesha Show.
  • Dixon wrote the lyrics about getting over her marriage split with ex-So Solid Crew member MC Harvey a few years previously.
  • Dixon wrote the song with Take That's Gary Barlow. They became friends after taking part in a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief. Barlow gushed to The Sun September 25, 2009: "I guess this is Alesha's story in the present. She wrote the lyrics really quickly and they seemed very real. I didn't really know he was such a good songwriter. She then went into the vocal booth and killed it. It was a joy to watch. Take after take, she nailed it. We felt so good about it we treated ourselves to a steak."
