  • A native of Scotland and the brother of Dougie Thomson of Supertramp, Ali Thomson performed in London in the mid-1970's, then moved to Los Angeles. This title track from his debut album was a major hit, though he was accused of imitating Paul McCartney's sound. This remains his biggest hit. His next single, "Live Every Minute," peaked at #41 in the US. Thomson made one more album the following year before quitting solo performing. He did contribute to Gary Wright's hit "Really Wanna Know You" in 1981. >>
