  • Keys links up with producer Jamie Smith of the London based band The XX for this funk-soul jam. The R&B Queen told Mojo magazine that Jamie XX introduced her to a whole new way of working. "I'd play something, he'd sample what I played then send it back to me," she said. "I'd play something over the top of it, we'd go back and forth. It was fluid and fun and reminded me that you never know what you're going to get when you collaborate."
  • Keys' little son Egypt has a cameo at the end of this song, as we hear him lend his toddler voice with help from his mom. The New York songstress recalled his cameo during an interview with the Associated Press' Mesfin Fekadu: "We were in the studio working on it, and he came in and he was kind of seeing us sing and writing it, and so he wanted to see the mic, so I passed it to him and he started talking on it. But this is when he was like a year and three months, so what first was on there was kind of just the first words he was saying, but as time progressed and we were about to wrap the album, I was like, 'I really gotta get Egypt on ... because he's 2 now, he has a lot to say, he has a personality.' And so I brought him back into the studio ... and you'll notice, I'll ask him what's his name and he says 'Showtime' (laughs). So for those that know my husband, you'll understand what that means."
