Songfacts®:

  • Here, All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth is attempting to run away from all the chaos around him by trying to convince himself that things are okay.

Everything is fine and nothing matters
Weather's always nice inside my head
I turn my music up so loud
Tired of bulls--t, drown it out
Everything is fine and nothing matters anyway
    If I don't care

Gaskarth told Billboard he wrote the lyrics out of news fatigue in today's difficult political climate. "It's sort of a song about escape, but also acknowledges that that is no way to live," he said. "It's really about dealing with the panic and the madness that we sometimes see in the world and finding your place in that madness."
