Songfacts®:

  • The song is American pop punk band All Time Low's third single from their third album, Nothing Personal.
  • Frontman Alex Gaskarth explained in interviews that the song is about spotting a beautiful girl at a show, and wanting to meet her. However, she doesn't pay any attention to him as she's so involved in the music and is just there to have fun and dance.

  • Brianna from -I did think the song was about spotting a girl at a show, but I listened to it recently and got the feeling that it was about going to a show with a friend (who is a girl) and, I don't know, being in love with her and not being noticed. He knows about her job (?) and her in general, and even though I'm not sure if "I'm ready to go" is as in, basically "ready to have intercourse" or "I was gonna go home but like WOW" but now it sounds to me like he was ready to go home, and this is like someone he came with, and he doesn't want to interrupt her. I don't know ;D it's just my interpretation.
