Songfacts®:

  • A track from Angie Miller's debut Weathered EP, this finds the American Idol alumna wishing for great things. "'Dream big' has always been a motto of mine and everybody knows that — even my fans go by the name 'Dreamers,'" she told Billboard magazine. "So 'Miles' illustrates how my dreams, at times, feel so far out of reach — as if they're not even obtainable. But, I know that with perseverance, you can be rewarded."
  • Weathered was released independently on November 12, 2014 with the help of a PledgeMusic campaign. It was produced by Red Decibel, who are the songwriting and production team of Adam Watts and Andy Dodd. They recorded the entire EP in one week.
