  • Anne-Marie wrote this vulnerable song with Iain James, who has co-penned several of Little Mix's hits, and with a team of top pop producers including MNEK and The Invisible Men. The songstress told Pop Crush why she chose this reflective number as her follow-up to her two previous hit singles.

"With this song particularly, I wanted to show people a different side of me. With Alarm and Ciao Adios they were quite angry songs about bad ex-boyfriends, and I didn't want people to think that's just what I was like. And I am like that, I do have those feelings, but I just wanted to put out this more vulnerable, soft side of me - because I am vulnerable and I am an emotional person, and I wanted people to see that."
  • The song's music video was filmed in Ukraine. Anne-Marie said: "It's about me and a boy, and me basically trying to... I feel like in this song, I'm kind of having a word with myself, like, "Come on, we need to be a bit more honest about how we're feeling here, because it's kinda gone downhill, we don't really know what's happening."
  • The singer explained to BBC Radio 1 reporter Mark Savage why the visual shows two Anne-Maries sat together, deep in conversation.

"In that video I wanted to show that sometimes you need to have a word with yourself," she explained. "No matter how many times people say you can do it, you can move on, you're great... you don't actually do it until you sit down with yourself."
