Songfacts®:

  • This song is about finding your way home, where "home" can be a person or a place - anything that brings comfort.

There's only one thing I want
    All roads
Will lead me back to you

For Arkells frontman Max Kerman, the song is about the road back to normalcy after a hectic few months of touring. He told Apple Music: "So much of our job is traveling, and it can feel somewhat chaotic, so this song is about the feeling of finally coming home and being at ease."
  • Arkells released this song as the third single from Blink Once. They recorded the album in LA in late 2019 and February 2020 in a small studio in Highland Park with producers Tom Peyton (Meghan Trainor's "Me Too," Panic at the Disco's "Say Amen") and Ryan Spraker. When COVID hit, the band did the final tweaks working from home in Hamilton, Canada.
  • The song serves as the soundtrack to #TogetherAgain, a Canadian vaccine awareness PSA to combat vaccine hesitancy.
  • Toronto director and Arkells frequent collaborator Mark Myers helmed the video, which shows the band members at the Devil's Punch Bowl waterfall, a popular tourist destination just outside of Hamilton.
