Songfacts®:

  • This song is about wanting to break free and move on from a tough situation. "It's a powerful anthem about finding your own peace within yourself and being able to walk away and 'let go' of a past relationship," guitarist Ben Bruce explained. "Life has hurdles for us all to jump over. It's how we grow and how we learn and become stronger, and this song is about leaping over one of those hurdles we all face."
  • Musically, the song nods to Asking Alexandria's 2017 gold-certified song "Alone In a Room."

"We have been chasing the success of 'Alone in a Room' ever since," vocalist Danny Worsnop told Apple Music." I don't think we'll ever beat that song, but this is our hat-tip to that. This is the big, bouncy, radio-friendly, full-stadium-of-people-singing-along number."
  • The female vocalist is singer-songwriter Grace Grundy who rose to fame with soulful, slow cover of popular hit songs. She also guested on Asking Alexandria's Like a House on Fire track "I Don't Need You."
  • Matt Good produced the track along with the rest of Asking Alexandra's Where Do We Go From Here? album. Good is best known as the lead guitarist, lead vocalist, and the only constant member of the American post-hardcore band From First to Last. In more recent years, Good focused on his production career and has worked with Asking Alexandria since their 2017 self-titled album.
