Songfacts®:

  • Attack! Attack! is a Welsh band made up of Neil Starr (vocals/guitar), Ryan Day (guitar), Will Davies (bass) and Mike Griffiths (drums). Starr told us about this song: "Ryan and I were sitting in my living room, and on my laptop a mail came through from Will with some chords he had recorded on his Pro Tools. We opened up the mail and started singing random stuff over the top, just messing around. Then Ryan sang, 'I can't stop thinking about it,' and I was like, 'That's awesome!!!!' Not wanting to be outdone by Ryan, I then did my best to come up with the next line which is, 'Too much is never enough.' Before we knew it, we had the makings of a pretty cool-sounding chorus. We got together soon after that as a band and jammed out the rest of the song. I had the lyrics for the rest of the song written for a while and they seemed to fit perfectly. The message at the end of the song is intended to be positive: basically focus, try your best, and you can achieve what you want!" (learn more at their MySpace page)
