• When Bad Meets Evil first emerged in 1999, the duo received underground acclaim but didn't release an album until 2011. The popular song "Renegade" was originally recorded with Eminem and Royce da 5'9" sharing rapping duties. After the group originally split in 1999, Eminem took the song to Jay-Z and he dubbed in his voice over Royce da 5'9"s verse. "Renegade" appeared on Jay-Z's 2001 album The Blueprint.
• Even when the members of Bad Meets Evil were feuding, they had a connection. Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg wrote the hook to Royce da 5'9"s single "Rock City." When asked about the link, Eminem joked "Paul writes all my s--t."
• In the late '90s and early 2000s, Bad Meets Evil rapper Eminem took so much of the sleeping pill Ambien that it did permanent damage to his brain. The damage is so bad that Eminem doesn't remember shooting the video to "Rock City" with Royce da 5'9" or working with The Neptunes at all.
• Eminem and Royce da 5'9" don't want to hear each others verses until they're on a track. The duo doesn't write together and they even leave the room when the other person is recording their verse in the vocal booth. The reason for their odd way of collaborating is because both Em and Royce want to be surprised by what each other comes up with after everything is said and done.
• Bad Meets Evil rapper Eminem used to stage dive and crowd surf but doesn't anymore. Once, Eminem jumped off the stage and was almost naked when he came back up. He was covered in cuts so he decided that he shouldn't be doing it anymore.
• In 2011, Bad Meets Evil's EP Hell: The Sequel became only the third EP in history to hit #1 on Billboard's Top 200 chart. The only other two EP's to reach the top spot were Alice in Chains' Jar of Flies in 1994 and Jay-Z and Linkin Park's Collision Course in 2004.
• Eminem and Royce da 5'9" decided to end their beef after their mutual friend Proof died. Proof was a member of D12, a group that both Em and Royce were in. After Royce patched things up with D12, some of the other members of the group called Em and told him he should work things out with Royce for closure as well.
