Quietly Bonkers

Songfacts®:

  • This is a composition which can't quite make up its mind – is it a humorous ditty or a love song? Written by the team of lyricist Myles Rudge and composer Ted Dicks, it was recorded as the B-Side of the big Cribbins hit "Right, Said Fred." Somewhat heavily orchestrated, its theme is: I'm going quietly bonkers over you, and wishing you would go quietly bonkers over me.
  • Although it does not appear to have been published as such, a reproduced apparently handwritten copy was deposited in the British Library. It was copyrighted by Noel Gay of London, 1962. >>>
