Songfacts®:

  • "Ms. Whitman" is a diss track by Bhad Bhabie directed towards her fellow social media personality Alabama Barker, the daughter of blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and stepdaughter of Kourtney Kardashian.
  • The beef started when Alabama allegedly got involved with Le Vaughn, the father of Bhad Bhabie's child. This did not go down well. In response, Bhabie dropped "Over Cooked" in January 2025, a track where she not-so-subtly suggested that Alabama had managed to get pregnant by two different people - later naming Soulja Boy and Tyga in an Instagram livestream. Soulja Boy then threatened to sue her.

Not to be outdone, Alabama fired back with "Cry Bhabie," which led to Bhabie retaliating yet again with "Ms. Whitman," released on February 25, 2025.
  • "Ms. Whitman" is a relentless, take-no-prisoners lyrical assault, going after Alabama's personal life and her family, including Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian. The title refers to Alabama Whitman, the character from the 1993 cult classic True Romance, which Travis Barker liked so much he named his daughter after her.
  • The song borrows its beat from Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign's "Carnival" from their 2024 album Vultures 1. West claimed he only cleared the sample because "so many people try to stop me, they stop clearances."

"It's been very difficult for me," Ye continued. "If anybody asks me for something, I always clear it. But I'm not cool with being put in the middle of all this at all."
  • The music video shows a Travis Barker lookalike hammering away on the drums while Bhabie twerks around him.
