Songfacts®:

  • Here, Big Sean and Harlem rapper A$AP Ferg trade bars about a litany of topics, including their haters, women, luxury items and God-given abilities.

A$AP Ferg: My momma say a couple prayers, keep them demons off me
Big Sean: Cause I know my head blessed, got so many reasons on me

"It reminds me of that energy growing up where people had the back-and-forth verses," Sean told MTV News. "It's just got a high energy to it."
  • This is the fourth time Sean and Ferg have collaborated, following Ferg's "Ja Rule," and "World Is Mine," plus Meek Mill's "B Boy."
  • The energetic trap banger was produced by Chauncey "Hit-Boy" Hollis, Jr. (Beyoncé's "Sorry," Travis Scott's "Sicko Mode"). The song title is a reference to Hit-Boy's beat. At one point in the song, Sean says hearing the producer's instrumentation makes you so hyped up you go "bezerk."
  • Big Sean and A$AP Ferg debuted the song on August 26, 2019 at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards.
  • This was just a lighthearted song that Big Sean did with Ferg. The rapper told Entertainment Weekly that he wants to make sure he has fun as well as taking about more serious stuff. "One of the things I don't want to do is just become very preachy like I'm talking over people's heads," he explained.
