Songfacts®:

  • The closing track on the Toronto-based Rock band Big Wreck's third album, it was written by their lead singer, Ian Thornley, who told us the song "can come across as a little bit cheesy or a little bit too sweet." He added, "It's almost got an Andrew Lloyd Webber thing to it. But for some reason, I'm like, 'Okay, I'm into this.' I'm pretty proud of that one, and I think it's pretty close to where I imagined it getting. But still it's hard to ride that line between really beautiful and poignant and totally cheesy." (Here's our full Ian Thornley interview.)
