Songfacts®:

  • Landing as the follow-up to BL3SS & CamrinWatsin's UK Top 5 single, "Kisses," "Craving 4 U" sees the pair join forces again with vocalist bbyclose and production duo Punctual (Will Lansley & John Morgan) for another round of shimmering new-school dance pop.
  • Lyrically, bbyclose leans into the theme of pure, unfiltered desire. She doesn't play coy - her words are direct, the kind of confessional pop yearning that could make even the most emotionally restrained listener nod in recognition.
  • And what of BL3SS? Behind the moniker is one Flynn Haddigan, who, when faced with the existential crisis of choosing a stage name, did what any sensible person would: he took inspiration from casual slang and a number plate.

"I think it's always a daunting process trying to come up with your artist name," he told Official Charts. "But you know when people say 'that's bless?' I quite enjoyed the sound of that, it's quite a casual name. Once, we were driving around and I quite liked the look of it on a number plate, that's where the 3 came from. I thought at one point I'd get a nice number plate."
