Songfacts®:

  • This track's name is a nod to disc jockey Alan Freeman, who'd used the group's previous instrumental track "Laguna Sunrise" as the intro for his radio show.
  • "Fluff" was played at Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi's first wedding, but the tape malfunctioned. The marriage malfunctioned too, and the couple broke up during the recording of the album Technical Ecstacy.
