Songfacts®:

  • From Blindside's DVD Ten Years Running Blind, guitarist Simon Grenehed explains, "We tried to find like, kind of find a theme or something that's going to be, you know, what the record is going to be called and all that stuff. The lyrics were actually 'I thought about fire in the sky.' So we were playing with those words and we came up 'about a burning fire.' And, you know, we were thinking about, like, what the fire is, like [what] you read in the Bible. And you know it's where God shows Himself to man, and we just, you know, we just felt it was something very powerful.
  • the lyrics, "I thought about fire in the sky" could be attributed to Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit revealed Himself in the form of tongues of fire. >>>
