  • This trio came together in 2011. They released their debut album, Finally Home, in 2013, raising money for the project by playing high end house parties. The release was on their own independent record label, 3 Dream Records.
  • They co-produced their debut album with Peter Asher, who was half of the British Duo, Peter and Gordon (and sister of Jane Asher, who dated Paul McCartney). He has produced over 100 albums for artists including Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, and Neil Diamond.
  • It was 2010 when Kenny Loggins got the idea to start this band. Loggins arrived on the music scene in the early 1970s as part of the duo, Loggins and Messina, who had hits with "House at Pooh Corner" and "Your Mama Don't Dance." After the duo ended, Loggins achieved success as a solo singer-songwriter. He scored and recorded hits for movie soundtracks, including "I'm Alright" from Caddyshack, and "Footloose" from the film of the same name. Kenny has said that Blue Sky Riders has allowed him to reinvent himself for a third time.
  • Gary Burr is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and has penned 13 #1 hits. The group came together when Loggins was in Nashville collaborating with Burr, and felt that by adding a strong female singer songwriter to their mix, they could be onto something special. He ran the idea past Burr, and asked if he could make a recommendation. Gary told Loggins he knew just the right person.

Georgia Middleman was dating Gary Burr when he recommended her to Kenny. Middleman was also a Nashville singer songwriter with success of her own. She co-wrote Radney Foster's single, "I'm In," also recorded by Keith Urban. When she met Loggins, they wrote a song in the first hour, and the formation of the trio set sail. Talking about what makes them click, Georgia told us: "Writing with Kenny and Gary, we have very similar instincts. Chances are when one of us lights up, all the others light up."
  • Gary Burr and Georgia Middleman got married in 2012.
  • The trio holds tight to an agreement that together they form a collective entity, and no single voice stands above the others. The band merges a blend of Country, Pop, and Rock. In an interview with the Huffington Post, Kenny Loggins said: "If you grew up liking Fleetwood Mac and you like Lady Antebellum now, we are probably your cup of tea."
