Songfacts®:

  • The second track on Life, Love & Hope is actually a remastered version of a song that was included on Boston's previous album, Corporate America. Boston leader Tom Scholz explained to Ultimate Classic Rock: "I did remaster it and change the mix a little bit, but that's basically the same song that was released back in 2002."

"That's the only song on the album that I didn't write in its entirety," Scholz added. "Curly Smith and a friend of his wrote that verse and I just really liked the song. So my goal was to try to get a bigger audience for it than it got with Corporate America. It was no mistake that I put it in there in the #2 position. I really wanted people to hear this song."
