  • Edp from Torrance CaBeautifully written and Boz’s voice is wonderful. Wish the original version with the Eagles doing background would have been used in Urban Cowboy.
  • Markantney from BiloxeAug 2014,

Barry, "Breakdown Dead Ahead" and "JoJo" didn't crack top 10???

    I demand a recount 25-30 years later:):):)
  • Barry from Sauquoit, NyOn August 17th 1980, "Look What You've Done to Me" by Boz Scaggs entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart at position #69; and on October 19th, 1980 it peaked at #14 {for 2 weeks} and spent 17 weeks on the Top 100...
It reached #3 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Tracks chart...
Between 1971 and 1988 he had fourteen Top 100 records with one making the Top 10, "Lowdown" peaked at #3 for two weeks on October 3rd, 1976...
He just missed having a second Top 10 record when "Lido Shuffle" peaked at #11 for two weeks on May 8th, 1977...
William Royce 'Boz' Scaggs celebrated his 70th birthday two months ago on June 8 {2014}.
  • Markantney from Biloxi, MsApr 2014, Though the song is admitting a moment of weakness (so to speak) "look what you've done to me,..never thought I'd fall again so easily", to say his delivery is "Cool" doesn't do his performance justice.

Many of his slow cuts have that vibe, that and it's delivered with all sincerity, if that's the word??

He's the master at it. It's like Kenny Rogers but with more Soul, if that's the word (again)?
  • Keith from Bear, DeHere we are 30 years removed from Urban Cowboy and as Ann from Chicago says, "...I could listen to it over and over again." The simple nature of the song just makes it one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Boz Scaggs performs it expertly. This song just gets better with time.
  • Leigh from Morris Plains, NjThis song was written by David Foster for the movie.
  • Joel from Toronto, OnThis song is featured in Urban Cowboy.
  • Sara from Silver Spring, MdAlso known as "Love Look What You've Done" to Me it featured female backing vocals in the movie version not the Eagles they were on Scagss' Hits album. As with most of his albums at the time it featured Toto members as well.
  • Ann from Chicago, IlBeautiful beautiful song, very soulful.
My all-time favorite - I could listen to it over and over again.
  • Dan from Winthrop, MaHas members of the Eagles on background vocals and Don Felder on lead guitar.
