Songfacts®:

  • This tale of domestic abuse and karma finds Brad Paisley singing about a woman taking martial arts lessons and plotting revenge on her violent husband. He is joined by Southern Rock icon Charlie Daniels, who contributes a spoken-word segment. Paisley told The Boot how the veteran singer took the tune to a whole other level. "The song existed before him and was OK without him, but it became A+ with him and that's Charlie Daniels," he said. "At first it was just me saying, 'He threw a punch. She spun around, grabbed his arm, put him on the ground. He grabbed a cutting board on his way down, she kicked it in half,' but that is not the same as hearing the voice that brought you such classics as 'The Devil Went Down To Georgia' and 'Uneasy Rider.' It's hearing the original white rapper do what he does."
