Songfacts®:

  • This is one of many songs that Paisley co-wrote with Chris DuBois. Some others include "Online," "This is Country Music," "Welcome to the Future," and "Southern Comfort Zone."
  • Paisley's wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, provided some inspiration for the opening lyrics as the singer recalls the first time he heard her swear and when she put a dent in his truck. Kimberly also appeared in the music video, directed by Jim Shea and Peter Tilden, which is filled with couples sharing their funny little moments. At the end of the video, the Paisleys inadvertently created a new one when Kimberly accidentally hits Brad in the head with her sunglasses. She can also be seen in the video for "I'm Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin' Song)."
  • This peaked at #2 on the country chart.
