Songfacts®:

  • This ode to sisterhood finds Britney duetting with her little sister Jamie Lynn. The pair sing about chillin' together and sipping wine. We learn that Jamie Lynn's preference is for white wine while Britney likes red.
  • The song marked Jamie Lynn's return to the spotlight after ending her hit Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101, in 2008 to raise her daughter, Maddie. The release of Britney Jean coincided with the younger Spears' debut Country single, "How Could I Want More," being made available. Britney explained: "She's been working on her first album in Nashville for a while and I thought it would be really cool to have her on my album. She's more of a country artist and I'm obviously pop so we figured we would meet in the middle."
  • Jamie Lynn explained to Billboard magazine that the collaboration happened naturally: "I had been playing her some things that I had been writing, and she really liked them, so she asked me to come to the studio with her while she worked on her album," she said. "I went with her for a few days, and she asked me to sing on one of the songs. So, I jumped in and did it!"
