Songfacts®:

  • Britney sings here about putting on a private show for her man.

    All my tricks, they're spectacular
    My encore is immaculate

    She wrote the song with:

British songwriter Carla Williams, who has co-penned UK singles for the likes of Girls Aloud ("Can't Speak French"), The Saturdays ("Not Giving Up") and Naughty Boy ("Runnin' (Lose It All)"). She also co-wrote Beyonce's Lemonade track, "Freedom."

American producer Tramaine Winfrey, also known as Young Fyre, who has worked extensively with T-Pain.

Josh Dun, who is the drummer for the American duo Twenty One Pilots.

Newcomer Simon Smith, for whom this was his first major songwriting credit.
  • This served as a theme tune for Spears' fragrance of the same name. The pop princess has form for using a song to sell one of her products. The video for her Britney Jean track "Perfume" featured a considerable amount of product placement for her perfume, Fantasy.

For those who are interested, Private Show's scent was apparently inspired by Britney's "love of dulce de leche, white florals and iced coffee."
  • This is one of several Glory tracks that showcase Britney's singing. She told Radio.com: "I really wanted to do stuff to showcase my voice a little bit more than normal and push the envelope a bit."
