  The brothers told Apple Music that this droll, unapologetic song "stems from us not knowing when to keep our mouths shut. At some point, we either had to zip it or accept the fact that we can't please everyone. We chose the latter."
• Brothers Osborne recorded the song for their third album, Skeletons. John Osborne explained they made the record so they had more songs to choose from that they could play live. "We started with just like every other artist, 30, 40 plus songs," he said. "We started whittling them down, 'well we might be able to play that. I don't know if we would be able to play that.' And that's how we ended up with Skeletons. And it was really birthed from just playing live shows."
• The sibling duo performed the song on the stage of the historic Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville during the 2021 ACM Awards. The two traded lead vocals as John Osborne supplied his Southern-rock-style guitar licks and TJ played rhythm acoustic guitar. They also closed out the ceremony with their track "Dead's Man Curve."
• This is the first Brothers Osborne track where guitarist John Osborne sings a verse, which he says is perfect because "this song in particular is the both of us saying we're not everybody's cup of tea and that's okay."
