  • This Caribbean-influenced track finds Calvin Harris linking up with frequent Drake collaborator PartyNextDoor. The Canadian rapper/singer croons with an island-tinged accent over the British producer's dancehall-by-way-of-Toronto rhythm.

    Mi and di mandem
We haffi run from half of di gyal dem
    So sweet, so sweet
Don't want mi children and ting'
Mi nuh ready fi all dem tings
  • PartyNextDoor was previously one of three featured vocalists on Harris' 2017 Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 track "Cash Out." Speaking with Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 show, the Scottish producer admitted that he had "underutilized" the Canadian artist on that record and he wanted to put that right by working with him again on "Nuh Ready Nuh Ready."

"I just know his pen, his voice and his delivery is among the best in the world," he said. "I worked with him on my last album and I was aware that I underused him. I felt embarrassed and ashamed for underusing him."

Harris added: "He sung a hook on a track, I was like, come on, you need to do more if you can. I mean so that's just what I did. But I knew that I wouldn't want to do more funk records as well because I've done that and I've done the best I could possibly do."
