Songfacts®:

  • Here, Camila Cabello fantasizes about a guy who has taken her fancy. She brazenly suggests all the things she and her crush should do.

    I'm into it
Whatever trouble that you're thinking, I could get into it
I see a king-sized bed in the corner, we should get into it
All of the things, I wanna do to you is infinite
I mean, if you're into it, I'm into it

Camila said: "I had this crush for such a long time. I was just day dreaming about this person and 'Into It' was basically like just the thing I would say to that person. I think everybody's felt that way before... nevermind."
  • Cabello worked on multiple songs for her debut solo album with Ryan Tedder. The OneRepublic frontman has also penned hit tunes for the likes of Leona Lewis ("Bleeding Love") and Beyoncé ("Halo"). This track was the only song from the pair to make the record's final track list.
  • Tedder told ABC Radio how Cabello was influenced by her Cuban heritage when writing for her debut album. "She's obviously Cuban, I wanted to stay true to that, she played me a couple records, I can't say the names of 'em, [but] one of 'em blew me away and it felt like you were sitting in the streets of Havana," he said. "I mean, it felt very authentic, and like she has such a point of view and actually is such a good writer."
