Songfacts®:

  • Thematically, the middle three tracks of Dead Set on Living were influenced by a close friend of lead singer Liam Cormier who ended up in the hospital in serious condition; only to have the experience cement his will to survive. Cormier told Terrorizer magazine that the title track is about the conversations he and his pal had, followed by "The Void" which he describes as "the fall out." The trilogy concludes with this song, which is like, "nah, f--k that s--t", back on track, positivity."
