Songfacts®:

  • This steamy slow jam finds Cardi B and Bruno Mars looking forward to the night ahead.

Turn around and just tease me, baby
You know what I want and what I need, baby

There seems to be a great deal of of sexual tension between the pair as the promise of imminent bedroom intimacy drives Mars crazy with anticipation.
  • The two previously worked together when Cardi B jumped on the remix of Bruno Mars' single "Finesse" in January 2018.
  • The song has a retro groove, harking back to '90s R&B. It samples Jodeci's sexual ode from that decade, "Freek'n You."
  • Bruno Mars helmed the track along with the Los Angeles-based production team, Stereotypes. Their other credits include Justin Bieber's "Somebody To Love" as well as Mars' own "24K Magic" and "That's What I Like ."
  • Bruno Mars also directed the sexy, choreographed visual alongside Florent Dechard. The French videographer previously worked on the Hawaiian singer's clips for his song "Finesse" and Gucci Mane collab "Wake Up In The Sky." The video finds Cardi and Bruno engaging in some risqué dancing in an after-hours taco diner and later on the streets of Los Angeles.
