Songfacts®:

  • This Hillary Lindsey, Liz Rose and Lori McKenna penned song finds Underwood singing to her man that she wants to love him, "like the world's gonna stop, til the very last second, last tick of that clock."

People magazine asked Underwood if she sings such songs to her husband, NHL star Mike Fisher. "I don't really sing to Mike, actually," she replied. "Normally if I'm singing around the house I'm singing to some song on (son) Isaiah's toys and making fun of it! But I definitely can relate to those songs in Mike. I don't know if every time I sing them I'm like dreaming of him, but I can definitely relate to them."
  • Nashville songwriter Hillary Lindsey has nine co-writes out of 13 on Storyteller. She has been co-penning tunes for Underwood, since the American Idol alumna's first mega-hit, 2005's "Jesus, Take The Wheel."
