  • Cas$h Out was signed to the independent record label Bases Loaded when L.A. Reid heard "Cashin Out." The Epic Records label head requested a meeting and the Georgia rapper performed this song during the interview, which convinced Reid to sign him. "That's the reason L.A. Reid signed me, because of my music," Ca$h Out shared to Billboard magazine, "When we first went up [to Epic's offices], it was because of 'Cashin' Out,' but when he heard the rest of the music, the deal got reconstructed. This is the one LA loved - it was the one I performed in his office."
  • Ca$h sees the song as one that will connect with those dealing with backstabbing friends. "I really make music people can relate to, and the beat is crazy. A lot of people have been in that position where somebody else wants to take your spot," he told Billboard magazine.
