Eye Of The Beholder

Album: The Witches of Eastwick (2000)

Songfacts®:

  • After the overture, this is the fourth song from the musical The Witches Of Eastwick, which was first performed at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in London's West End. Like the rest of the songs in the show it has lyrics by John Dempsey and music by Dana P. Rowe. The title is of course a well-known saying, and it is performed here as a duet between Alexandra and Darryl. Arguably the weakest song in a show that received generally positive reviews, even most non-thrash fans will probably prefer the Metallica track of the same name. >>>
