Songfacts®:

  • As she gets older Cat Burns has learned that a lot of the stuff we stress about just ain't worth it. We're fed the idea that it's important, but it's all a facade. Here, Burns uses her platform to dish out some sage advice to her listeners at home. Her words of wisdom include:

If there's something you wanna do, just do it

Don't let your head stop your heart from moving

If there's someone you wanna talk to, talk to them

Hug your kids and tell them you love them

Have some heart but make sure it's open

Take that risk because time gets stolen

Maybe speak less and listen more

"It's a very positive song about starting whatever it is you want to start and doing whatever it is you want to do in life," said Burns, "because we only have one life, and we deserve to live it to the fullest."
  • Cat Burns wrote the song with Gez "Gato" O'Connell and Jordan Riley. Riley produced the track with Stuart Price (the prolific producer behind Madonna's Confessions on a Dance Floor and The Killers' Day & Age). Burns also collaborated with the same three on her "People Pleaser" single.
  • Riley and Price played all the instruments between them: keyboards, synths, organ, guitar, bass, drums.
  • Burns released "Live More & Love More" as a single on March 31, 2023, just six weeks after she wrote it with Gato and Riley. It became her third song to reach the Top 75 of the UK Singles Chart, following "Go" and her collaboration with Arrdee, "Home For My Heart."
