Songfacts®:

  • This is the second European single by American musician Cee Lo Green, from his third solo album, The Lady Killer. Green co-penned the song with Los Angeles-based producer Noel "Detail" Fisher who rose to fame in late 2005 when he teamed with singer Ray J for most of his Raydiation album. He has subsequently worked with a number of leading artists including the Pussycat Dolls, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera and Usher.
  • The song was produced by the Norwegian record production and songwriting team ELEMENT, who consist of Hitesh Ceon and Kim Ofstad. The pair were previously known as 3Elementz, which you probably won't be surprised to learn was a 3 member team, including bass-player Jonny Sjo. 3Elementz were best known for their production work on Madcon's 2008 European hit "Beggin." Since becoming ELEMENT their résumé includes two songs for UK X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke, "Dangerous" and "Bury Me (6 Feet Under)."
