  • After featuring on tracks with the likes of AJ Tracey, Dave and J Hus, Central Cee achieved his first solo chart hit with the skittering drill anthem "Loading." "6 For 6" finds him recounting the hard grind he's put in to accomplish his dreams, while admitting he had to resort to illegal activities along the way.
  • The song title is a reference to Michael Jordan's impressive 6–0 career record in the NBA Finals. Jordan won three straight NBA championships from 1991 to 93, then after coming back from retirement, he won three more from 1996 to 98.

    Went three-for-three, now I'm six-for-six
Put in the work for years for this, this ain't no coincidence
I did have to take them trips

Cee is likening his successful streak of singles to Jordan's NBA achievements.
  • Cee recorded the track just after "Loading" hit the charts, so he's speaking about his confidence and ambition rather than an actual run of singles. "I went into the studio feeling kinda different," he recounted to Apple Music. "You can hear it. I'm describing that transition on this track, or the transition that I feel I'm making. I'm also speaking on things I haven't touched on before. The funny thing is: I wasn't going 'six for six' when I made this, I only had two tracks out. But I was looking ahead."
  • Kettering native Young Chencs produced the track. He has also worked with Yxng Bane ("Better") and M Huncho ("That Ain't It").
