Songfacts®:

  • "I Will" is Central Cee's laid-back love anthem for the club scene. Cench establishes the setting with the chorus, where he's scouting the club for someone to vibe with. "You're tryna find someone to take you home and show you love," he tells a girl. "If nobody else will, then I will."

In the first verse, Central Cee paints a picture of the girl confident and beautiful, hinting at a comfortable lifestyle with the line "wrist bling from daddy's money." He even envisions a future vacation in Thailand, showing his ambition to "tick a couple countries off your bucket list."

In the second verse, realism emerges: Cee acknowledges the girl has options, and he's okay with that. But he positions himself as the reliable one, the last chance at a connection when others fail to deliver.
  • "I Will" boasts a crisp drumbeat and a smooth guitar melody crafted by Swedish producers LIOHN and John Alexis.

Richard "LIOHN" Zastenker's other work includes producing and writing several tracks for Drake, such as "Rich Baby Daddy" and "Massive." He also worked on Lady Gaga's Elton John collaboration "Sine From Above."

John Alexis' other credits include Molly Sandén's "Utan Dig" and Dame D.O.L.L.A.'s "Bigger Than Us."
  • Central Cee released "I Will" on February 24, 2022, through CC4L & Columbia Records. It was accompanied by a music video that follows a group of young women as they prepare for a night out, adding visual context to the song's themes.
