Songfacts®:

  • This is one of Kelley's favorite songs off The Driver. He explained to IHeartRadio: "I just love the feel of it. It almost has a bit of a John Mayer kind of vibe, the way the drums sound, and the groove. [It's] got a little bit of R&B flavor to it."

"I think a lot of us can relate to having that person that comes over, and just strings you along a little bit," he added. "It's almost kind of like 'Need You Now' in a way. They call you when they've run out of all the other options, but you're dancing around the fact that you know there's probably something more there, if y'all just were to get to the heart of the matter. It's just one of those songs that, for some reason, is one that I find myself going back to when I listen to the record."
