  • Baddadan is a Jamaican patois expression that means "badman" or "bad guy." The phrase is often used to describe someone who is tough, aggressive, and not afraid to fight. In the context of the song, the lyrics are a way of asserting the singer's dominance and superiority.
  • Chase & Status co-produced the song with Bou. Algeria-born, Manchester-raised Bou is a regular on the drum and bass festival circuit and a popular DJ on the club circuit. Their production blends the deep bass and rhythmic drums reminiscent of classic jungle music with contemporary drum and bass vocals and resonating acidy synths.
